Inside the Hall: Youngest Plumlee continues to grow game, interest

GFDave · 5 months agoThe video of him that I referenced in the previous blog topic left me very impressed with Marshall. He's got the whole package. I think his presence and poise with the media are well beyond his years. As a player you'd have to think he'd at least become a solid starter, perhaps an all B10 performer. I would love to have this kid come to IU.

Kelin Blab · 5 months agoDo we want Plumlee or Zeller. I have seen neither play, not sure which one is further along?
-
Moose · 5 months agoI'll take either one. I'd expect both to end up like their brothers at Duke at Carolina. It seems as if they're progressing that way.
-
Alex · 5 months agoBoth of them are very good players right now. Zeller is an excellent ball handler for his size, can shoot it from 15 to 17 feet and can finish in traffic. Plumlee plays as hard as anyone I've seen this spring or summer, blocks or alters a ton of shots and can finish with either hand. In other words, IU would be doing well to get either of them.

Kelin Blab · 5 months agoI like Zeller's versatility having played point guard could fit well in Crean's system. Not sure if this is our last crack at a Zeller but geez, to get one finally would be nice.

Hardwood83 · 5 months agoI've been impressed by what I've seen of this kid too. I know PG is the new black, but I like the idea of having a true center so I hope IU can reel him in.
-
Diesel · 5 months agoWho was the last true IU center? George Leach?
-
because it's Indiana · 5 months agoWhat would we gripe about if Crean recruited a top notch big man? It may hurt the blog, but I suppose we'll have to make the sacrifice. Being "there at the start" is a big deal these days. Looks like we've solidified that position with Plumlee.

Diesel · 5 months agoI know I've said it before, but I love the insight of CTC's twitter. For the longest time he was not following anyone, now he is following 5 guys and only one of them is a prospect - Kyrie Irving. I don't anticipate him following any other players, just another subtle way of saying "you're our guy".
