I agree with what MikeinNC touched on earlier. Somehow, even through all the losses and forehead-slapping moments, this team is making being an IU fan fun again. For the first time in a long time, I'm watching the game for more than the final score—I'm watching because I genuinely love the team and their effort. Like Mike said—reconnecting with the IU basketball identity. I think we will ALL be better fans after this year. That might sound strange, but it's true. From now on, we will take far less for granted.

And that's got to be a good thing.

Agree. I keep remembering a team in the 60's with Vernon Payne that went from 9th to 1st in the B10 from one year to the next. Maybe we donot do that but I feel it becoming possible

Pardon the sappy commentary, but watching this video and reflecting on the season thus far, I can't help but feel that while IU is losing a lot of games, we are somehow rediscovering everything that was once good about Indiana basketball...it feels like we are finding our Hoosier basketball identity again....don't mean to sound overly dramatic, but it feels like that's what is happening.

That was great. That is what Indiana basketball is all about. Even though we have lost a lot of games, I really enjoy watching these kids play hard. I enjoy it a lot better than last year.
