Top 10-*some of these guys weren't here very long*-Isiah Thomas, George McGinnis, Walt Bellamy, Calbert Cheaney, Steve Alford, Don Schlundt, Scott May, Mike Woodson, Kent Benson, and Steve Downing. I really had a tough time with those last couple of choices. Narrowly missing my top 10 were-Jimmy Rayl, Alan Henderson, Damon Bailey, A.J. Guyton, Randy Wittman and ( a guy who never reached his full potential, for various reasons, but had as sweet a jumper as anybody considered for this list) Jay Edwards.

1) Isiah Thomas - 1 NCAA C'ship, 2 NBA C'ships
2) Walt Bellamy
3) George McGinnis - if hadn't gone pro, UCLA would not have been able to handle George & Downing in 73.
4) Jay Edwards - so much talent. Woulda, coulda, shoulda!!!
5) Scott May
6) Calbert Chaney - so smooth.
7) Quinn Buckner - ultimate leader.
8) Steve Alford - on greatest non-pro Olympic team in 84, 87 C'ship.
9) Jimmy Rayl
10) Mike Woodson - IU wins 2 C'ships in a row without his hurt back in 80.

You guys know how to give us a good challenge. There have been some really good Hoosier players over the years. I guess my list is no better than anybody elses but here goes, in no special order.

Calbert Chaney, Steve Alford, Jimmy Rayl, Landon Turner, Isiah Thomas, Quinn Buckner, Scott May, Don Schlundt, Greg Graham and Alan Henderson.

Don't mean to offend anyone. Our Hoosiers are fantastic and always fun to watch. And be assured of one thing, Coach Crean will have us back sooner than many of the critics thinks. GO BIG RED!
