Good, Bad and Ugly: Loyola (Md.)
Bob proposes kids have to stay 2years and that is what stern is looking to do for then next CBA for the NBA.
The day Bob says the word Indiana hell will freeze over. I still think Crean should rename the court "Knight Court" whether Bob is there or not and if he won't show invite the 76 team and other players who played for him. I think, this may sound crazy, but the pressure would get him to show up........hell invite his son.
I'm still sure the decision to let him go was necessary, but he's meant a lot to the program.
In a way, the departure of Gordon will help the healing. Not that it will help on the court, but it is one less remnant of KS. The removal of Ellis and Bassett set a tone for how this team will be handed and goes hand in hand with Crean's "no one is bigger than the program" philosophy. This will hopefully be a start to a new disciplined team and program on and off the court and a return to recruiting Indiana first. Thank God.
So Fresh and So Crean Crean...
That said, I'm fairly certain it's going to work out.

Either way i hope the best that can happen does.
I saw a clip of T.Creans presser again today....and just as I thought...who is standing in the corner smiling and clapping......Myles Brand!!!!
Good sign....I would think so.....why would he be there anyhow?
Yep it was myles b..standing in the corner.
College kids partying ?.................What a surprise
Sometimes the legal framework/language of a contract takes too long and is unclear about its intent . Thus a MoU is created in simpler terms and faster so parties can move on.
Lets face it we are putting our complete trust in Crean whoever his coaches are, whoever he recruits, whoever he keeps on the team etc.
I keep wondering what everyone's expectations are for him ( not predictions ). I think mine are :
1. NCAA every year but year 1
2. Always lands 3 of Indiana's top 10 players and at least 1 in the top 4
3. Everyone plays 2 years minimum
4. 90% graduate
5. No more than one player kicked off every 3 years
6. B-10 titles every 3 years
Also, I don't know about 2. You can't fault him if there's only a couple of scholarships available and he can only get one or two players at a time.
Depending on the schedule and/or NCAA sanctions (or none), would a trip to the NIT next year keep people happy given what has happened this year? Being that it will be a very young, very inexperienced team, I'd think that would be great. If IU can keep their record above .500, they would be a lock for the NIT (I would think), and that's a great place to learn and grow as a team and get some extra experience.
But, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
