  • Bad football, bad basketball, and bad soccer. Le Sigh.
  • Ehhh, the cost of this scumbag goes so much farther than money. If you looked at our future before this debacle happened, we had a a top class that included the likes of Ebanks, this just killed the spirit of every Indiana fan, and I hope this guy gets demoted to a ballboy
  • While the total sum seems precipitous, it's nothing compared to the damage Samson has done to diminish the fine reputation and high standards that I.U. had established over 40+ years.

    That's the real tragedy!!!
  • and just think how much more iu will be spending when lynch is fired...
  • In other news, yesterday I had to take a test at Assembly and the team was finishing up practice and I got to watch them for about 10 minutes. In the short time I had to watch I noticed a few things. First, Malik Story, Matt Roth, and Jeremiah Rivers were the only players that didn't get yelled at. Also, apparently Jobe doesn't know how to make a chest pass, but it seemed like he ran the floor pretty well. But then again it was only practice.
  • Why wouldn't the NCAA and all member schools agree to "real" arbitration (without attornies) on these things. Why not have a completely neutral choice from a pool of arbitrators decide the issues involved? In effect, the NCAA is judge and jury unless a school wants to run the legal bill to chilling heights by appealing through the courts. Only the attornies on both sides win in the end.
  • 1. I think this is an excellent idea but the NCAA will never agree to reduced power

    2. I also think IU should have hired a "crisis management" PR firm and fought the NCAA in the public domain.....I only believe this because I believe 100 of the 126 phone violations are weak( under 3min, double count the Morris twins, Mackey, etc )

    3. Why did we even need a law firm if we had compliance expertise in the ADept ?
  • I agree with your thoughts on the NCAA and think it would be a good thing for Congress to once again look at the NCAA for what it has become. Ooops, Congress could just look in the mirror and see what the NCAA has become, sorry! VBG
  • That is funny and wisdom at the same time
  • As another side note, Crean picked a good Colts game to attend today! Was that an awesome game or what. Maybe I should run for womens coach so I can get those kind of seats. LOL
