I'm talking No. 1 overall better.

GO HOOSIERS

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

OK 7 days before midnight madness....WILL ELI PLAY?

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

Quite a load to put on a freshman who has not played his first game yet. The good thing is that EJ seems to have the ability to deal with the expectations. This will be one winter I would trade South Florida for the snow.

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

Skittle I hope your right. It would definetly open up Ej's three point capabilities. The most important player for me is going to be jemarcus ellis. As long as he can hit the consistent jumper that he's known for, we will do just fine come march.

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

I agree with DJ being better than Hansbrough - especially if coach is right about DJ having his swagger back (as opposed to playing tentatively, which he said last season). But Jaime G - I think DJ can be a defensive stopper AND average 18 a game(!) Agree with you though, we have quite a few players that can score the ball. Need him to anchor the middle.

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

I agree DJ is better than Tyler H_____. He is a tough player and very intense but I like DJ's skills better. I am really going to have to stop reading this stuff...midnight madness can't come soon enough.

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

Ok I'll say it. I think D.J. White is better than Tyler Hansbrough. I honestly think the nation does not think much of D.J. White, because he was injured for a season. I think if they play each other in the tournament D.J will make it real dificult for Hanborough to get easy baskets or quick jumpers. I would rather see D.J. as a defensive stopper than averaging 18 a game.

Re: Sporting News tabs Gordon first team All-American, IU ranked 10th

I agree on D.J. White being the best NBA talent... How could you pick him over a FRESHMAN you said was going to be first team All-American... I would hope if EJ goes that far in his first year in the NCAA that he would have a higher ceiling...
