    This entire website is quite comical. Keep wishing, dreaming, and hoping that this Phoenix will ever again rise from the ashes. Purdue is the future of Indiana basketball. Time to trade in that creme and crimson for black and gold, unless you condone cheatin!!!

    Devan--I guess a 4th place tie in the Big 10 last year really catapulted the Boilermakers in your eyes. The only thing Purdue leads the Big 10 in is overweight head coaches and number of players forced off or kicked off the team.

    Also leaving Gordon off the all Big 10 first team by the media makes the choices lose all credibility.

    i don't necessarily think that IU is going to win the big ten, but i don't put much stock into this media preseason picks.

    michigan state could shit in a can, say it's their team, and still be picked to win the big ten.

    Get off this website you freak!!! It's funny and kind of pathetic that you are going on websites that support IU. It's not like I go on the GOLD & BLack website and make wishful comments and trying to pretend and that my team is the best. I guess that's what losers do who don't have anything to brag on.
    Remember this loser- IU has 23 NCAA championships(5 mens'b-ball) to PU's two (Men's golf and Women's b-ball). Not much to boast, huh.
    Enough said.

    i've never liked neitzel, he just always annoyed me. that being said, hes a great player. but here's what i want to know: what planet did this kid come from? i mean look at that picture! he has to be an alien. i bet that's how he gets that shot off so quickly. anti-gravity enabled hands.

    also, i hate michigan state. they deserve the #1 spot to start the season. the key there is to start the season. we'll top them. and pay no attention to the purdue fan. he's just jealous.

    I'm going with DJ, EJ, Raymar Morgan, Drew Neitzel, and Shaun Pruitt for all big 10. DJ will be POY. Take a look at the Pan-Am games. DJ was the man for that team as he led in scoring and rebounds by a wide margin. He also led in shooting % and even steals. Neitzel did not show much in these games. I agree any all Big 10 team that leaves EJ off is -- well just off. I'm also going with IU for the title.
    Purdue has a good young team, and I expect them to come on strong about half way through the Big 10 season. But they will struggle early especially after losing their top two players. As far as Purdue becoming a dynasty -- well it could happen -- but you need more than one great recruiting class to make such an assertion credible.

    We do have 1 mens basketball national championship. If it is all right to count all your ancient titles, then it would be alright to count our ancient championship. By the way I just like getting all of you worked up good luck this year, and to better days coming for both teams.

    I don't mind not having Gordon on the preseason team, only because he has yet to play a minute of college basketball. As long as he's plays well enough to be on the all big ten team at the end of the year is all that i care about.

    Hey Dotson, do you know what I found quite comical? How about that purdue publication that got down on hands and knees begging Tyler Zeller to come to Purdue. That was a complete joke.

    the difference is we actually won are "ancient" titles. you were awarded it. you won nothing.

    but yes, purdue should be better. i want them to be good. show the rest of the big 10 that the state of indiana is where basketball lives.

    To me, it will all come down to whether or not IU can learn to win on the road....this was a real problem for them last year, and with a lot of youngsters expected to play key roles this year, it will remain a question mark. If they can get a few early road wins in conference (vs. Iowa, Mich, and Minn)to build some confidence, then look out...

    Many of us are begging and hoping Tyler Zeller will come to purdue, is because we feel that he would be the last piece of the puzzle for a possible national championship contending team. I said (possible)only if the players pan out.
