Inside the Hall: Second half drought sinks Hoosiers

I can see why WU is on a winning streak, VERY solid defense. Much better than when I saw them earlier this year. They turned up the screws on our boys and allowed no easy buckets or shots. :o(

I really hate, ok maybe not hate, but at least greatly dislike that krabbenhoft guy. He killed us tonight, great effort by that smelly badger.

Oh-well, back to the drawing board, time to get up for the rivalry game at PU. Hope Roth is ok to play by Sat.

Thought VJ looked good with his 1v1 mid range game.

I would imagine saturday will be pretty ugly in the 30 point range loss column. Other then Northwestern at home I doubt we have a chance at another win this year. Well it wil be over soon at least.

You forgot to mention, the real reason we didn't win was because Tijan didn't play.

Saturday will be interesting. I can honestly say I wouldn't be upset it there were one more elbow to be thrown this season.

    - Agree with Krabbenhoft killing us, we always make him look like a Hall Of Fame player.
    - VJ III keeps improving, I liked his first half, but he could not keep Hughes in front of him.
    - Was it just me or did Pritchard not match up well with anyone on the floor last night? I was orginally wondering why he was not out there that much, but quickly realized he could not defend Landry or Luers (sp ?) real well.
    - Bo Ryan still knows how to teach defense, there were no open looks in the 2nd half.
    - They could not miss and we could not hit for about the first 20 minutes of the 2nd.
    - Had a lot of hope after the 1st, but was not to be. But the crowd was great, nice job Hoosier fans.

I have to wonder about something. Last night, I seen TC SITTING DOWN. I have NEVER seen him sit down during a game.....wonder whats gonna happen.....

ugh...per usual, we had one solid half and one not-so-solid half and the badgers made me eat my words as far as their ability to outrun us. We looked completely flat in the 2nd half and wilted once their D started giving us fits. That worries me. As does TP's latest disappearing act. I'm starting to wonder if maybe now we're getting the "real" TP and those non-conference double-doubles were some sort of magic. He looks lost out there. For the past several weeks, he looks on par with Taber and not like an ESPN top 100 prospect or a guy that will be a 4-year started for this team...and maybe it is just me, but it seems like every good game VJ puts together comes in a rout for us. That's not a good sign. I feel like he only plays well when everyone else plays poorly...though Steve Lavin did call him "the most improved freshman on the team" last night...anywho - I shudder to think of what those f***ing boilers are going to lay down on us come saturday. Oh, any news on Roth?

Some down spirits out there in Hoosierland. Anything can happen in a rivalry game. This year can be like army-navy, your record doesn't matter as long as you beat your dreaded despised rival. Go IU, beat PU.

Has Pritchard hit the proverbial "wall?"

Tijan didn't play because he will be used as a secret weapon against purdue. :o)

i'm afraid pritch "hit the wall" two months ago, once teams figured out how to match up against him. plus, guy's not getting any help in practice (yet) so his development is very much in-game and he's not the athlete (yet) or the workhorse (yet) to shoulder the type of burden he's been asked to this year...
