As much as I regret Sampson's stupidity in causing the phone-gate mess, I still have high regard for his ability to build a basketball team. I'm confident he knows what he's doing in adding Holloway to the mix and is doing everything possible to add Zeller and/or Jones. So let's just wait and see what happens. But it would be terribly unfortunate if phone-gate, including the loss of Senderoff's recruiting ability, costs the Hoosiers a top recruit or two.

As much as I hate to say it because I think he's a perfect fit for IU, I don't think we will land Jones. I do, however, think Zeller is going to IU.

Why do I think this? I am guessing. Am I confident in my opinions? No.

kelin, Brand will have little or nothing to do with the review of the recruiting violations by the NCAA. It is done by a special committee, and he is not on it. I do not know whether he has to ratify the finding or not, but his power is probably very little in these matters.

I haven't thought this out thoroughly....my gut tells me if one signs the other one won't, I may be wrong. What I just read about K.Jones was not positive from the standpoint of how his relative was raving on how much they liked senderoff...it wasn't coming from Jones though. We don't want to talk about it but there may be a certain "frosh" scholly that may be available....

Lets hope we don't lose anymore...c'mon myles IU use to pay your salary

I'm not saying I don't want Halloway, and I'm greatfull that he will become a hoosier, but if zeller and Jones say yes and we find out that the ncaa will take away another scholarship, I would hate to tell one of our kids that they can't come to IU. This inturn would create more bad press. I just wish they would have said time out and air on the side of caution. That being said I like what Kelvin Sampson is doing. He is trying to gather just a couple of superstuds and surounding them with players who will grind it out and do anything for the team. This is how championship teams are formulated.

He's ranked as high as Offutt if that means anything. Also he doesn't need to be a great shooter.
