I don't know if he would have gone after the same kids as KS but I think Crean has the integrity to stick with IU's offers to these kids just like he stuck with Dakich's decision getting rid of some players.

You are right but I like Hustlin" Hoosiers better because sometime they have to be patient but always hustling and working hard.

don't know about story but rivers is attending elite camps and all the others are on campus...crean saw them runnng on campus as a group and said they looked like "young wolves"

I don't know if anyone has noticed or even cares, but Earl Calloway has been tearing it up for the Pacers in summer league play and might, however unlikely, make the jump from D-League to NBA. Just throwing that out there

I have watched the kid in many aau tournaments and he never seems to dissapoint me. However if we want to be honest with ourselves he isn't what we really need. I think that we have 1 scholorship left and Crean specifically said that we have to get a man with a "low post presence."

I saw this kid play this past season here in Dallas against Brandon Jennings and Oak Hill. He is a manchild! He definitely fits the style of play that Crean stresses. He seems like the type of player that would have really fit in with Brian Evans/Matt Nover and the '93 Hoosiers. The only think I'm a bit worried about is his height. He plays at the 4 so I'm curious if he plans on playing down low at the college level. All in all, he seems like a good kid and he comes from a great program that was very disciplined when I watched.

Just curious BUT which of our guys are playing this summer in a venue they can be observed ? Pritchard and Dumes for example ,what and how are they doing ?

Yes for sure. So he wanted Story but Roth was KS kid. I hope they both are incredible but I start skeptical and i apologize to TC and the kids for that.................I really want them to kick butt.............................so back to Cheb Khaled

With the way high school bball players are these days you just about have to no all the litle details about them espcially if you are IU. Just as I trust TC to make the right decisions on so many other things I trust him to make the right decision on which one of these young men is the best fit for IU as he probably knows these guys better than any of us.

judging by his picture, i would venture to guess that he just loves life and he's comfortable/confident with who he is. so many guys have that "i'm tough, don't mess with me" look on their face. if his smile and his attitude on the court are any indication of his attitude off the court, he could be just as valuable in the locker room as on the court.

I hope to be wrong but I think Franklin is right for us and Story and/or Roth may be mistakes. I love hearing his respect for us in these trying times

Sounds like a "Hustlin' Hoosier" that will fit right into the "Crean and Crimson" and will not let anyone make him a "Crean Puff."
