I beg to differ Big A and tend to take the side of scotty on this one. I believe this extension is in direct corelation with the ncaa sanctions that are going to be dealt out. Wouldn't be shocked to hear that we have a 2-year postseason ban. =/

im happy with this -- as long as the stipulation remains that he has to pay a million + to leave, this is VERY good for our program -- i look forward to a very stable program that will only excel from this!!

I think it's more of a sign that Crean wanted additional security now that Greenspan is leaving town.

This may be a signal that the NCAA is about to Nail IU... :-( although I'm very happy to lock in Crean.

Isn't this a little bit premature? I love what TC has done in the few months he's been here, but he's only been here a few months. IU will be paying a FORTUNE if the program decides to go in a different direction.

Fantastic news, It is refreashing to know the progam has stability now! This thing is going to happen in Bloomington it is just a matter of when.
