God also mentioned that Villanova will never make a Final Four. Something Crean will do in the next four years. I knew Sutton was done as soon as we signed Jobe. The only other guy in the country from Africa? Yes this would be a political move to grab Negedu. How many other 7 footers are in the Big Ten? He may be alone in that department.

This team still needs a post presence to open up all of these shooters. It won't be there next year. They are better off running the triangle through Jobe and letting Crawford, Williams, Negedu create off the dribble. They will be guarding our 3-point line for sure.

If we grab Negedu, Crean is nothing short of a genius. Talk about making chicken salad out of chicken sh_t! Where have these kids come from? Look at the other recruits across the Big Ten. Most of them have been set for months. It's impressive.

This team has very young talent and it will be great to watch them fight it out for a starting spot. You guys love Danny Moore. I love Crean. I've never loved another man. But hey, "It's IU. It's IU"

I agree, I think Crean is a savvy recruiter and he had a strong inkling immediately after Sutton's visit that it was probably not going to go his way....it's really not a big deal in this case because Sutton is someone for whom substitutes are available...

It would be cool if Gordon would go the pacers, but really any team would be fine with me. lol I am looking forward to watching him play, wish he would have played all season the way he did during the first half.

Yes, I think Bobby will coach again. It is highly doubtfull that he will spend the rest of his life starring in commercials, that just doesn't seem like Bobby to me.

Wish you nothing but the best Sutton. Crean looks to know what he is doing, if nothing else we get the big body we needed even if it's only for rebounds and blocked shots, plus if Jobe doesn't work out we only wasted 2 years on him instead of the 4 Sutton could have used up, thus giving Crean more time to go after an elite big man for 2010.
This Jobe signing could also help with gettin Negedu, if nothing else Jobe can't be worse than Deandre turned out to be plus Jobe doesn't even have to jump to have a higher vertical than Deandre....Go Crean get Negedu signed

next year may not be that bad......we do stay at home in the preseason for most games. Crawford will be a big key in all of this. He took over some games last year. I think Crean wants to win badly next year and I think the practices will be intense. I think the players will mesh well together and I see this team being the number 5 in the big ten behind ohio state, michigan state, wisonson, and purdue. We may tie for 4. Purdue lost Martin. This team will hopefully have some offensive sets that are effective as well as playing some intense defense. That could be enough of an improvement to pick up where we left off.
