I see why Crean wanted off campus...the Indiana top 100 was today at Ben Davis and he was there front and center....

This man is on a mission. With everything that has happened this year with the IU basketball program I never thought that in a short time I would feel this at ease with what was going on. Crean is on a mission. I have 100% faith with him at the helm. I think the players he is getting are going to fill roles for his overall vision. I think they will be around for a while to build with. I love hearing he is rolling around campus on a golf cart and giving students lifts. I think that is just awesome that he wants to connect to the campus. If he wants to go off campus for ten days its for a reason and he will make the best of it.

I agree. They have tried to be ultra conservative and do everything by the book so it would make no sense for them to take a risk at this point - somebody ran this by the NCAA.. I want to believe that the McRobbie-Brand connection is helping to facilitate some pretty good informal lines of communication throughout this whole saga.

I would think it was floated by the Sanctions committee and it was either favorable or it would have no effect really.
