Excellent interview and an excellent underlying piece by Lewis (when you know him "back in the day" its still Lewis, though there's nothing wrong with L. Jon). Well done fellas

really nothing new here. we will never know the real story. herbert and greenspan were both excited about sampson and were dancing together. the ncaa made a broke probation into a 2nd degree murder case. must be a lot of hate out there in the boardroom.

Awesome interview! Way more interesting than the article. Not an afront to Wertheim, but it just rehashed a bunch of stuff I already knew as an IU fan. But this interview, and Wertheim's frank answers, is excellent stuff, especially the inside scoop on how Greenspan feels about Herbert and how Crean feels about Sampson. Keep up the great work guys.

Great article and great interview...when Wertheim began to name all of the incoming recruits near the end, it just got me so pumped for the next 5 years of IU hoops. This year'll be a struggle but there is certainly plenty of optimism in the near future IMO.

Good Job... now I hope all you guys can see what I was talking about when I was saying how everyone need to kicked off of the team. Everyone raged. I think Crean is much much better than Sampson, and I'm going to be pulling for him, but I just don't know how good of an X's and O's guy he is. I hope he does all right and continues to recruit the right kind of guys once we are back on top.

great interview!! my favorite part was when he said he contacted the bucks, but they said he had no comment... then Kelvin made another "impermissable" phone call ..... haha this guy just cant stay off the phone !!! great article Wertheim and good interview A!!
