Oh yeah.....I think he will commit either way. KI doesn't affect him because they are in different grades and KI at the most is two and done......I may be in the minority but I would be as happy if we got either one. I just like Indiana kids staying home and especially the really good ones like J.Davis is.........not to mention I like his game.

Ryan - I may be getting greedy, but I could see us getting both. Irving is one year ahead and I don't think he will stay all four years (but Kyrie we will have you for as long as you want!). Davis could be the starter his sophmore year. A great problem to have. Lot's of heavy hitters recruiting Davis, but come one...It's Indiana!

So is it safe to say that this kid will probably only commit if Kyrie Irving doesn't commit? Correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem almost like the same sort of player (with Kyrie being a bit better). So the odds of both of them coming to IU seem slim.

J Davis is the guy that led me finally get on here and start posting instead of just reading. I saw him play in the spring at the Indiana high school top 100 showcase and you could just tell by the way he played this kid was going to be a steal for someone. Glad the cat is out of the bag.
