I don't think your home court advantage argument is holding any weight this year. Look at teams like Michigan State and Indiana, they are not having a tough time losing at home.

I don't know if he can coach or not, don't really care either way. I do know there is no way you are going to be successful at that school with where it is located. That place is a recruiting nightmare, no one can win there. they win in football because of the offense and tons of talent in football

two things.....pat does suck as a coach because he is trying to coach as his dad, instead adopting his own thing....such as....pressing, not all motion offense, etc. Dude be yourself Pat and stop running the wishbone in 2009....

#2 It was pretty good showing by the kid, dad would be proud.

He was looking for an excuse for an outburst because a) he can't coach and has no answers, b) he needs desperately to find a way to motivate his players, and c) attendance sucks at Tech and he needs some way to draw attention back to the program. He's in over his head and on his way out.

from what I can see in this short clip, that was def a bad call. he had position and everything, then somehow ended up behind and on the ground. bad move running out on the court? sure. worse move running back out onto the court? definitely. was he right? yes. here's my question: what happens when you are a ref and you make a call like that? we'll hear about the fine, suspension, or whatever it is that happens (and should happen) to knight, but will we hear anything official about a bad call or a game filled with bad calls? no, never, unless it's ed hochuli and SD. I'd just like to say I think this is a major problem, at least in the big 10. just look at the record of the home teams over the last 5 years. it should be hard to win on the road in a conference like the big 10, but not impossible. we have pretty much the same refs we did in the early 90s, and they aren't getting younger. they're slowing down, mentally and physically. they are never in position to make the correct calls. they just can't keep up with the game. but any criticism of them is looked down upon. if no one makes an honest complaint, change will never happen.

Think it was more of a maneuver to inspire his players, which backfired a bit, but I think his players know he was pissed.
