I agree that I don't know what happened to Vinitieri, but you can't put this whole game game on him. I think Manning did quite a bit more to lose it.

Actually, I get the Big Ten Network on DirecTV and live in Lexington...just lived in Chattanooga most of my life.

I checked out their forum, its pretty nice. Thing that really caught me though was this offhand comment by the above JohnMoc about watching IU's second exhibition game on BTN. Are you effing serious? He's watching the BTN down in Chattanooga and I can't get it in Bloomington? Load of bull!

Good luck tomorrow night, guys. We should be better than fourth in the division this year for sure. We have a lot of good shooters, and we also have some height underneath, though it is inexperienced. We beat a pretty bad team 120-59 in our first game. We'll come ready to play, and this is probably the most talented team Shulman has had at Chattanooga yet...even more so than the 2005 Tournament team that led Wake Forest at halftime. Does anyone know the specifics about the rumor. Is it that he is leaving or let go or something else. If the rumor is that he is leaving due to planing time once he returns, then maybe...if the rumor is he is let go then I don't believe it due to the fact the he is already on the roster and KS has already made future comments on him playing? Just curious.

Just talked to Big A, and neither of us have heard anything beyond the rumor. I've been searching for stories on A.J., but for now, it is what it is: a rumor which may or may not be true.

I will say this: These things seem have a special way of starting slow and gaining steam over time. We'll see how it goes.

We need to come to play with our defense. Our kids need to quit worrying about their points in the boxscore and get assists, rebounds, and steals. We'll be awesome if that happens. We need to play unselfish.

Chattanooga has one of the best and most consistent programs in the SoCon. I certainly don't expect them to pull a Garder-Webb/Mercer/Belmont on IU, but the Hoosiers better come out ready because they sure aren't a lowly DII team.

In fact, why don't they go ahead and make 20 threes this game, and DJ can go for a double-double. :)
