he'll get to be on the same team with eric gordon again

Skiles got fired in Chicago because his abrasive style made a young team quit on him, so of course the Bucks hire him to take charge of their young team. Nice first move as a GM by John Hammond.

simmons for bucks GM!! he wouldn't of made this dumb hire...

oh well tho.. who is scared of the bucks? they have been in NBA purgatory for years and i don't see them coming out of it for quite some time.

Isn't NBA purgatory the East, anyway?

    Two things....

The Bucks are in the same conference as the pacers so I will get at least TWO times per year to heckle KS

Yeah I have access to tickets 5 rows behind the visitor bench for Pacers games and you better believe he will receive a piece of my mind next year. Just need 4-5 beers and there will be no holds barred.

I would think, being Chicago guys, that you would be more kind to Skiles. Let's not forget how exciting the Baby Bulls were last season. (I almost became a fan of the NBA again). Call me old school, but if the players can't handle the reasonable demands of their coach that they play hard and smart, then they shouldn't be playing organized basketball...and certainly shouldn't be getting paid for it.

As for KS, whatever...at least he will continue to have nothing to do with IU or college basketball.

I don't want KS on IU soil............I wonder how it will feel for him to be the first NBA assistant coach booed so loudly and continually.

Just read Tom Crean was granted 10days to recruit on the road...sweet time to close some deals.....

Here's hoping Sampson can use this gig to start getting his life back on track....
