Trolling the IU blogs on a lazy Friday night, huh? Personally, I have no interest or desire to be on or even posting on any other college team blog than IU, but if you wanted to check one out, ITH would be the one. As far as credibility goes, I can't see how any poster not using their real name could be considered credible. I'm sure you have read all my posts to have some idea of my credibility, but then you weaken you take with an "IMO". So I was having a little fun at the expense of your coach. On an IU website, I do not believe that does anything to my credibility, perhaps on an Illini site I would need to defend that statement.

I later retracted my statement as I'm sure you saw below and recharacterized Bruce as deficient. I do not believe anyone would consider Weber in the upper echelon of Big Ten coaches, but he certainly wouldn't be in the bottom either. For me, Bruce needs to let go of the whining and do more coaching. Better pregame speeches too.

I am a big Illini fan admittedly and also like and respect IU. The criticism of Coach Weber by some Illini fans has been his recruiting skills and personality, not his coaching skills or integrity. To suggest he sucks as a coach undermines your credibility as a poster IMO.

I got a comment from some Illini guy about finals fours and such, I'm guessing it got deleted.

Maybe sucks is not a great word to use, perhaps deficient. Let us not waste time tracing Bruce's legacy as a coach, he is the equivalent of a Mike Davis.

Bruce has some studs commited to him for 2010 and 2011.

I also heard that Weber tried giving his motivational speech "the fist" at an LN open gym. That's probably why Jack is so ticked off. He's surely also ticked that a guy who sucks as much as Weber is coaching in the Big Ten.

Guys make sure you listen to the podcast of this interview. Keefer UNLOADS on these guys and does not bite his tongue. It was classic and he really really doesn't like Bruce! All the more reason to give him hell at AH this year........
