Inside the Hall: IU is a darkhorse for Tyler Zeller

Seems doubtful IU will nab this guy. Although, the way Sampson has recruited, I wouldn't put it past him.

I'd agree, but the fact that Zeller said this recently makes me believe we have a chance:

"The plan is to cut my list of schools to five in July or August. I am going to officially visit the schools that make the cut. The final decision is up to me, but I will talk to my parents and coach if I need some advice."

I have to agree with Big A on this. If the parents have any say, they'd most likely try to keep him close. Also, if IU could somehow just get an official their chances would go up a lot.

I'm not big on making fun of people's personal appearances -- but I think that guy just killed me in Halo.

It would be nice to see him in Kentucky blue. But if notPurdue or Indiana will be ok.As long as he is not a Tar heel or a Jayhawk I am fine.Keep the Kentucky Indiana Talent in the States dont let the outsiders of college basketball steal another great player from our Basketball states!

Great blog here guys. I doubt IU will get Zeller Ad long as Zeller is not a wildcat or a boiler I will be happy.

if zeller is looking for immediate playing time, it certainly seems that minutes will be available quickly in Bloomington.

As others have said, I highly doubt he ends up at IU. However with seeing him at the AMC in Bloomington, I'm quite okay with that.

While many I've talked with haven't been especially impressed with Zeller, you never want an in-state kid going out of state. If he doesn't end up with us, I'll be hoping Purdue gets him.

If Zeller wants to play in the uptempo system he desires, play for the best coach in the country and play in the NBA one day he'll haed for Chapel Hill.

Billy G. has already had Zeller on campus for an unofficial visit. With the tradition, facilities and Billy G's magic, he'll be a CAT.

The rumors I've heard is that UNC is in the drivers seat.

I do not see how an in-state talent as Tyler could NOT pick IU. Just why is IU not attactive to these kids. Are we still suffering from the Davis syndrome?
