Well, I guess it's not a huge surprise. I'm sure there are going to be lots of people out there saying, "I told you so." I don't want to be a doomsayer but the lack of competition so far this season seems to have padded the record and IU is probably not as good as what you would expect from a 17-1 (now 17-2) team. UConn is tough, but probably no tougher than MSU or Wisconsin is. The upside is that IU will learn and develop from this. I can't stand that they came to AH and took one though. Fortunately, it's not a Big Ten team.

Re: Huskies win rebounding battle, beat Hoosiers 68-63

im not a coach and i wont pretend to be, but i have to wonder: what was that gameplan?

why was IU insisting on going inside and right into the teeth of the uconn defense? i dont usually condone hucking up 40 3's but this was the kind of game where IU should've been settling for three-pointers. 3-21 from 2pt and 4-7 for 3pt in the first half.

uconn is extremely physical and athletic and i thought it was a big mistake to play to their strength.

Re: Huskies win rebounding battle, beat Hoosiers 68-63

was this mike davis or sampson coaching this game? we totally got outcoached. Also, DeAndre should've been in the game more. I know he missed easy shots, but we needed a big guy at the four to get rebounds. DJ cant get every rebound off the ten foot guy. it also doesnt help when the refs dont call anything off uconn. i also thought that ej and ellis played terrible today. we need this wisconsin win badly.
