  • To get a offer in the class of 2010 says a lot. I still wonder how we are in the Deshaun Thomas recruiting. I think if he verbaled to OSU, then pulled it, there is still some obvious interest there.
  • As far as I know, Thomas is committed to Ohio State. I talked to Dave Telep about the whole situation a couple weeks back and I'll try to make a post about it soon.
  • Thomas commit to OSU was never pulled.Because of the static he and his family received as well as the impact on his high school team--less attention than if he committed to IU or was uncommitted- they softened the language. He did not attend the elite camp at IU in August. If he doesn't feel the passion for IU let him go play second fiddle to the OSU football team.
  • I am interested if he will turn out to be the next lebron as I have heard.....
  • Assuming 6 scholarships are given for 2008 plus the 3 for 2007 (Gordon,Ellis and Thomas will be gone), that leaves 4 available for 2009 plus and additonal 1 for 2010 (Bassett) which goes to McCallum. Elston has 1 for 2009 so there may be only 3 total really in play for 2009 and 2010. So the point is the coaches really must like the kid Bullock with all the talent in the 2009 class.
  • IU should offer Peshon Howard a scholarship...he is in the class of 2010 and attends oak hill . the kid can do what he wants on the court and controls games.
