I am not fond of the coaching I saw today. Maybe somebody can straighten me out:

    1. Isn't poor free throw shooting this late in the year a coaching failure ?
    2. What does it accomplish to have TP out high in the zone where he cannot react and has to cover maximum ground ?
    3. Why does TP start the offense up high if he makes nothing happen out of it ?
    4. Why does VJ3 start the offense dribbling with his back to the other 4 players and the basket ?

We just saw UI deploy its players w/o any of these things so there are options IMO.

I love the coach but this was tough to watch today even if we gave them a bit of a run.

As far as FTs....I think it's that our legs are gone. These dudes are outta gas physically, mentally, emotionally...and tired legs = bad FTs

My take on it, JerryCT, is FTs just don't fall easy for young players with limited experience. They just play tight come game time.

It appears to me TP up high seems to be a release value for our guards tend to struggle getting our "O" started without some help.

Point 4 is a freshman trying not to turn the ball over probably worried about running laps for turnovers at the next practice as that has been a point of emphasis. :o)
