Finkelmeier time
zero big ten wins
1. Wasn't it nice for Illinois to jump up and down on the sidelines as if they accomplished something big by beating a 4a high school team. Hope they feel good about themselves
2. I love listening to Leary but I feel for the guy cause he makes the same statements over and over this...."Learning process....has to grow.....keep fighting etc."
3. We HAVE to get a WIN soon!
4. Not sure if anyone else thought about this at some point during the game, but how much I despise Kelvin Sampson even more.
5. I was thinking ahead and wondering how much would Creek, Elston, Wateford, and Hulls helped in this game.....then I realized......they are not walking through that door ..YET.
6. I have a good feeling about Jerimiah Rivers sitting watching and teaching.....a point guard who can spend a year as a coach will help a ton.
7. My last point....these have to be the worst benchwarmers we have ever had. NONE of them wanted to shoot, they were not chucking up shots, and not sure who it was but the kid that dunked at the end I was shocked.......
Here is a quote from 2004 to make us all feel better....
Help is on the way. Davis' third full year of recruiting has been his best, with four top 50 signees highlighted by likely McDonald's All-Americans Josh Smith and D.J. White.
"The Lakers lose because Shaq and Malone are out, but everyone knows when they heal up, help is coming," Davis says. "No doubt, my help is coming."
<sigh>
I hope our boys realize the growing pains will be painful & not let bumps in the road derail their confidence, it is to be expected to suffer sometimes to grow.
IU players & fans battle through the tough times and keep your eyes on the goals ( and the progress.)
1. This season we are analyzing losses and not suspensions
2. We are talking more our players on the court than off the court
3. We are NOT on ESPN for allegations, violations, and improper phone relations
4. Our frustrations is losing with a young inexperienced team, not losing with a team that had final 4 talent, a lottery pick, and went 8 deep with good players....now that was frustrating....
