  Whats up with that logo? Looks like a bad cheesy Olypics Logo or a State Fair Logo. Anyway. I hope they got a little bit of thier stuff together because this should definately be a win. I liked DD's comments abotu teh Ellis suspension about how he leads in kids transferring and sending him laters back saying their sorry because it was a bad decision. he said e is doing it for the kids best interests but its his way or the highway. That was good to here maybe he's putting his foot down finally. (Still don't want him as HC). Let's see if theres been a spark lit tonight. I say IU by 8

  I can't see the Gophers getting IU in Indy. The only possible way that happens is if Coleman can get DJ in foul trouble (he's very good around the basket), Gordon continues his shooting slump and can't get to the line, and McKenzie and Co. light it up from distance. Minny has too much stacked against it in this one...despite IU's recent problems.
  
  At the risk of putting the cart before the horse, I sure hope PU gets the win today, both because I really want IU/PU pt. 2 (even though in all fairness the game should be played at Mackie) and because I don't want to play IL again.
  
  More than anything, I want to see IU's talent shine this weekend. If they can play three games in three days, maybe they can get back in some rhythm.

  I don't know what to think about tonight. I was gonna go down to Conseco and watch the game but decided not to spend the money since I'm not sure what team is going to show up!!! On paper it should be like an easy home win, but IU hasn't had one of those since the fiasco that was KS! Everything has been tight and difficult since that day! I think with a few days off and DD putting his foot down on Ellis that something will give and maybe that spark will come back, but realistically, this is a lost cause! I can't see how this team can rally behind DD because they're too hung up on KS! I understand how they feel, but as a former college baseball player, coach or no coach I played to win . . . but kids don't seem to feel that way anymore. It's all about their future NBA contract and shoe endorsement and what "I" can do for "me"!!!

  Alright listen up guys, I have the solution for the next coach at IU....ERIN ANDREWS..Think about it it's a win win for everyone. 1st What 18-22 year straight male wouldn't want to see that every practice, thus we get the top recruits in the nation. 2nd during games it makes listening to Steve Lavin and Musberger tolerable to listen to, because they sweat her as much as I do. 3rd when she has to bend over to pick up her clipboard during timeouts, I can pause my DVR at just the right time and swoosh I win.....see guys it's a nobrainer we need to see her walk the sideline every game....Good luck Erin..hope to see you soon

  I'll tell you one thing, after watching Pitt-Marquette I have taken Tom Crean and Jaime Dixon off my wish list. Neither was at the top, but they were on the list. It has nothing to do with their coaching skills or style of play. They might be the two most annoying coaches to watch. Dixon is halfway onto the court most of the time and Crean is constantly running up and down the sideline with his hands behind his back.
  
  As someone that played college basketball (D2, not claiming to have been on the same stage as these guys) there is noting more annoying or distracting than hearing your coach screaming the whole game and acting like an idiot on the sideline.

  What a great coaching job DD did tonight. The same thing that got us beat at Penn State got us beat again tonight. Does this coaching staff have the guts to tell Eric Gordan stop shooting the 3 point shot? Maybe since the university decided to fire KS no one would be disappointed if they fired the team. Get this bullshit over now and hire new coach, AD and wait until next season.

  I couldn't agree with you more! Could we get rid of everyone and start fresh with a coach that will do the simple things (I hate to say it, but like Matt Painter) AND RECRUIT THE GOOD PLAYERS FROM THE STATE OF INDIANA!!! This is f***ing ridiculous. One player on our team acts like he gives two squirts of piss if we win while I'm watching Kramer and Hummel for PU dive all over the place!!! WTF??? I would rather watch an IN high school game on TV than this run-another-thug out there team!!!

  How difficult should this game have been for the Hoosiers tonight. Second game in a row where a starter was not able to play and we still loose. IU basketball has never been at this level. Remember the UConn game were the two players were suspended and we still lost? If it wasn't for the early easy schedule our record would have not been this good. I'm thinking about Butler. They do it right and are fun to watch.

  I don't know even what to say. This is basically a microcosim of the leadership of this entire university. I graduated in 2003 and there has been no leadership whatsoever, and it is an absolute embarassment. Athletically we are a great basketball school, and what I have seen over the last 5 to 6 years with the exception of 2002 is ridiculous. This is such a great institution with a proud basketball tradition, and all of that the last few years has gone down the drain with the complete lack of leadership. Its time to clean house starting with Greenspan.

  You know what . . . we may have never gotten these recruits (would've had Vaden and DJ cause Davis recruited them as an assistant) when RMK was here but at least we'd still be watching respectable Indiana basketball. There will be 4 IN teams in the tourney: PU, ND, Butler, and IU and I would rather watch any of the other three than my favorite team. They all play ball like we grew up playing it here in the great basketball state of IN, but the Hoosiers DON'T!!!

  Think of the players from the state of Indiana right now that are at other schools (not just Purdue). To name a few: Deante Vaughn, Dominic James (did you see his effort for Marquette tonight???), Luke Harengoty (however you spell it), etc. There's so many more and players that Sampson and Davis didn't even recruit but Painter and Mike Brey have no problem recruiting them. I've said all along that IU should try to pry Brey away from ND. He knows how to recruit the state and has built a solid program at a football school!!!

  TUne in right now and see Washington State on Fox Sprts channel.....They move without the baall and run sort of a motion offense....They probab;y wont win, because they can't matchup with the Lopez twins from Stanford. Just seeing 5 guys moving on the court at the same time is something I haven't seen since 2002 at IU. Again this is why Tony Bennett needs to be coach..2 20+ win seasons in a row at WSU first time that has happened in 66 years, and he is doing this with no all stars, nothing but TEAM play

  I think IU should one of two things......
  
  Accept a bid to the New Post season tourney the CIB I believe, then have KS come and coach them in that....
  
  or
  
  Accept a bid to the NCAA tourney and let DJ and Kyle Tabar go by themselves, they seem to be the only two that are doing anything right now.

  I was at the game. I wanted to shoot myself. "D" played great and was incorrectly ruled for a foul which should have been on DJ. But other than those two, everyone stunk. And it's not a good stink. It's the kind of stink where you feel that they don't care, they have attitudes, and the whole season was worthless and perhaps the next several regardless of who comes in. Every time I turn around there's a new coach, AD, or president at IU. Nothing has gone our way since 2002. I thought the last tourney in Indy was bad w/Wilmont missing the game-winner. This is the worst loss, based upon the improbability of everything in the last 4 seconds, that I have ever seen in my life. We have the most talent in the Big Ten, maybe the country, but we'll be lucky to win a tourney game. No heart and mainly no basketball intelligence.
