I think IU and MSU will indeed be neck and neck for the B10 crown. I like our chances to win the league, but I think a lot will depend on the schedule.

Also, MSU has a dynamite recruiting class coming in. Combine that with Drew Neitzel and the emerging Raymar Morgan and the Spartans are going to be very special.

Here are my 10 teams to throw into a hat:

North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas, Indiana, Michigan State, UCLA, Louisville, Tennessee, Georgetown and whoever is playing Purdue

Tom Izzo is the best coach in the Big 10 and I 'm a Hoosier.

The winner of this league will get a No. 2 seed at minimum in the tourney.

    My Final Four today:

Louisville, UCLA, IU, Tennesee Honorable Mention: MIch. St.

It's so nice being this high in the rankings again. I expect us to be ranked somewhere from 9 to 11 in the preseason polls.

Only 3 months until Midnight Madness...Can't.Wait.

Very excited for basketball, but let's support and enjoy the football season first.

    excellent point about football.

IU needs more football revenue for sure to keep the athletic program healthy.

Exactly, I'm excited for MM and basketball season too, but I'm also excited for football. We need to pack the Rock for revenue, and to show support for the team, coaches, and in honor of Coach Hep. Anyway, GO IU and nice blog.

Good to hear some enthusiasm for football. Hopefully this is the year the Hoosiers can finally break through and head to a bowl game.

Oh, I'm definitely excited for football as well.

After last season ended, I was ready for this one to begin. Everything was set up for this to be the year for the Hoosiers to play in their first bowl game since 1993. I believed that with Hep as the coach, and I still believe the players and Coach Lynch will get it done.

The team didn't lose but a handful of starters and returns Lewis, Hardy, Thigpen, etc. We have seven home games again, and Ohio State and Michigan are off the schedule this year and next.

This is going to be a great year for IU athletics.
