Must be the lack of things going on in the off season. I'm rooting for the Rays personally, I don't think i should start mocking the cubs. Im afraid of being burned at the stake.

I still wish we could find some way to sign Cheek, but im relatively sure that it is impossible, unless Rivers decides to pay for some people :D

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

It's to bad elton brand left. If he was there, they might have had a playoff team.

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

It's not just you. I'm a bit concerned as well. Did he have issues at North Central? Being in nyc, I missed a lot of the day-to-day details.

These recent injuries sound like a result of EJ still playing a bit out of control. He's so freakishly athletic and talented. But he's got to let the game come to him instead of trying to force it.

As long as we aren't seeing any knee issues, it's not a concern.

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

Is it just me or does Gordon seem to be a bit injury prone?

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

Since we're bringing MLB partisanship to the discussion...

As much as it may pain my Cub compadres, I hope the Sux go all the way. I love the idea of an all-Chicago Series (I'm not making predictions, just thinking of the scenario). Wouldn't it be great? Anyway, Go Sux!

But isn't this post-season really about the Cubs? This is a great team to root for...great pitching, defense, and offense; balanced and deep. Forget about the drought and the curse(s)...This IS the year!

I hope to we get the same excitement in relation to Crean & Crimson basketball...and soon!

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

Nah, cubbies whine too much for my tastes, plus they are in my division. Hoping the cardinals actually pick up a reliever this offseason

I actually think we are done for the 2009 season, unless we really thing that someone is going to decommit, and im off to research the 2010 prospects interested in IU :P

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

Anything on the Braswell / Creek visit?

Re: Eric Gordon sprains ankle in camp

i know you don't feel bad for them, but I'm rooting fo the cubbies.
