  • I would be sad if he left, I think even though he is raw, he can be good. He went through so much in Compton and to get out of that situation and come to Bloomington had to be good for him. I spoke with him at the tip-off banquet at the beginning of the season ad he is a real nice kid, in the end he has to do what is best for him but, I hope he stays.
  • Correction. Eli Holman lived in Richmond, CA. Not Compton, CA. Richmond is a poor surburb of Oakland. It was really tough there for him.
  • I wonder if this has anything to do with his grades? I would be surprised if he goes anywhere.
  • Because he is waiting until next week, being the end of the semester, I would say grades are a factor. He has to prove to himself he can cut it. Doubt is probably a companion of his. He seems like a young man that is trying so hard to make it. I want him to succeed for his own sake, and I know he would be a crowd favorite. He needs to spend this weekend in an out of the way library, hitting it hard, in some cubicle.
  • I can't think of a single instance where an unhappy player transferred and found success. I hope Eli stays for his own sake. I'll support whatever stalwart hardwood student-warriors show up.next year. Half of anything is about showing up. Good luck Eli but this karma is all on you.

I believe Ewing,Jr. found a little success at Georgetown.(Final Four)
  • I looked up junior's numbers and I think I am right. Apology accepted

  • his dunk in the slam dunk contest this year was super sick.. one of the best college throw downs i have seen. if you can find it on youtube i would appreciate it. 360 and goes behind the back if im remebering correctly.. it was nasty.
  • Yeah, Ewing did that dunk at IU's Midnight Madness during his short time here. IT brought the house down and he won the slam dunk contest at MM in Assembly Hall. YOU can search the dunk on youtube.

  • Yea....I don't think he did very well, but the team was very good. He should of been there in the first place.
