What reporter, was so DESPERATE, that he needed to report the opinion and feelings of Dominique Keller. Probably some whiny kid that didn't get a scholarship from Indiana.

To be honest, I thought it was that 5 star kid in the 2010 class who committed to Kentucky. IT would have actually mattered, since he is from Indiana, but I read the article, and a 6.2ppg guy dissed us, I feel so ashamed to watch my team. (sarcasm)

Dominque....let me give you some advice to help you out kid...

#1 Bench warmers are NOT allowed to say what they hate!

#2 You average 6 more points per game than my mom who is 60 and Abe Lincoln who is dead

#3 I am fine with you hating IU, but at least have some valid reason. Surely you didn't develope this hate at those big time JUCO games you played in ....

#4 To close a sentence with "You can quote me on that" would be fine if anyone outside of Illannoy new who you were.......That is like Tijan saying how much he hates Purdue....

This is pretty funny actually. When I read the headline, I had no idea who this guy was. Thank you for going to Illinois sir. You would not crackthe rotation in 2009-2010 as a senior at Indiana.

Have fun getting knocked out of the tourney in the 2nd round for two seasons.

I found this on a Illini Message board, the best was some kid told me (before they banned me again) that Illinois was going to do everything we had in the next four years with weber. So I guess they are going to win 5 championships in 4 years, wow Weber is magical!

What does Keller know? a JUCO transfer should be thanking god he gets to play in gyms like Assembly Hall. This is a kid who clearly has no knowledge of, or respect for, the history of college basketball.

Let him go back and keeping putting up 6.2 ppg in that spaceship looking, dimly lit dungeon they call assembky hall.

I could care less...I hope none of IU's players like any of the other schools. Respect them but don't like them...Crean should put in a video of Pitt play and say this is how we should play. What a fun physical team to watch, would love to see that system or play at IU. Pritchard, Williams and Story have the bodies to be very physical, they just need to without fouling

I agree this isn't really a rivalry game to me either. Maybe it'd be more of one if I was a Chicago guy, I dunno. As it is, they're a competitive, tough conference opponent and we've had some great games over the years, but I just don't see it being much more than that. Yes, I also remember what a douche Lou Henson was, but I just don't get it. Even over the past year, it just stemmed from Weber whining about EJ. Now that all that's in the past, can't we move on.

Not to be critical of this kid but I would say he needs to focus more of his attention on his play (6.2ppg and 2.4 rpg) and less attention on how much he hates Indiana. Just an observation.

i wonder what prompted that comment. it's not like this was a heated game. there were no fights, no stare-downs, no handshakes ignored. since mr. klee didn't feel the need to put the quote into a context - he just kind of threw it out there - i can't help but think that someone might have baited keller in to it.

with that said, change one word -indiana to illinois - and i completely agree

...and you can quote me on that.

FWIW and IMHO Illinois is not a rivalry game for IU. The IU rivalry games are Purdue and Kentucky. Folks may loathe Weber (and that's fine, I loathed Lou Henson but never considered Ilinois a rival, even back in the 1989 season time-period) but it gives them (really Weber) far too much credit to consider them a rival.
