The 2009 recruiting class Tom Crean and staff have assembled in his short time in Bloomington is impressive. And with the hiring of Roshown McLeod, it could be getting a five-star boost in the form of St. Anthony’s (NJ) guard Dominic Cheek.

HELL YAHH!!!!!!!!!!! This is very encouraging! Even though we need a big I will take him in a heart beat. Screw Watford. Nothing against him, but Cheek is obviously insanely talented!

I'm usually not one to nitpick comments, but "screw watford" is probably not the best choice of words especially when I've had recruits tell me they read the site.

This is very encouraging indeed. I stated this earlier in the hiring of Roshown McLeod will only bring good things to the IU program. Tom Crean made a home run hire with McLeod now it is starting to pay big.

If Cheek makes a commitment, this will help relieve the pain of last season's debacle.

I think Cheek is a great talent, and I think there is a chance that he would stay longer then one year, which would be awesome. If we could land a couple of 2010 big men, they can make a real good run. It's still way to early to feel excited though.

I also believe that if we land cheek early enough, we might be able to make a strong push for favors.

I would rather have Watford or Franklin, but it is great to see IU getting in on the big names already!

Creek has moved up to 59 now according to rivals!!!!! We are fine at guard we need some athletes inside now.
