Good, Bad and Ugly: Pitt
Mcgee is gone, this frees up a scholly. Sutton is gone. Negudu is out there. Anyone else IU might be looking at ???
As for Crawford, from what I hear, he is a really good kid. Hopefully he went to class and will continue to prove himself over the summer. I was hoping to see a huge improvement from him next season.
Tom Pritchard
Role player, a Sean Kline clone.
Matt Roth
He's a great 3 point shooter and well that's it.
Nick Williams
This is the guy to keep an eye on. Could be a star one day. Has size, strength, athleticism and ability.
Verdell Jones
Has some skill, but needs muscle & strength, Big10 guards will punish him.
Tijan Jobe
A raw, limited big man. He's 22 and might have already peaked.
Devan Dumes
Solid player, nothing spectacular. The transition from the JC ranks to the Big10 will be a struggle.
Daniel Moore
An Errek Suhr type of player, nuff said.
Kory Barnett
WHO?
Broderick Lewis
Raw, athletic and undersized.
However this does give us much needed breathing room for scholarships. I have to admit I'm a little worried about possibly missing out on some great talents in the 2009 class, and maybe this will help there. You just have to take what you can get since there are no assurances we end up with our targets next year. I'm still really pulling for Negedu, but if we don't get him we still have some great options to replace McGee next year. It will all work out in the end.
Not to attack you or anything but I don't see how we could get someone better than Negedu this year or next. Maybe the other options (I remember a few 4 stars he had from Marquette and maybe a 5 star too) are equal to Negedu, but in my opinion Emmanuel is an absolute beast and could be a force in the Big 10.
Negedu is probably who he feels the bigger plan will be.
We have no choice but to trust TC. Let's hope Crawford can stick out this madess. Unbelievable.
Go Coach Crean!

C'est la vie, mon frere is FRENCH for "Such is life, man".
I for one am ashamed that I didn't notice it. I took two years of French in high school and my sister-in-law is from Guadalupe, a French island in the Caribbean
The loneliest of times can be those where you are in familiar places, with only strange faces.
attending undergrad there. All those places were so familiar and had such happy memories, but with all of my friends gone it was a very different type of lonely.
Welcome to IU Negedu (my prediction)
My buddy did tell me it is rumored on sportsline Jordan C. may be leaving too...still haven't found the article though...

William was a decent player during the 98 -99 season. You might remember him as the JUCO player that had a bullet in him from when he was shot in high school, or you might remember him for all the bunnies he missed in his two years at IU, most notably the potential game winner missed against Kentucky from about a foot from the basket...
