I am responding to the collection of recent posts. We all have understandably enthusiastic expectations about IU's future but I think the actual W vs L results will come more slowly than our current expectations.

For me I am projectng that IU will first be in the top 50% in the B10 in 2011, when next year's frshman are sophs and this year's are juniors. At that point , 2011 season, we will see Crean's relentless recruiting start paying off with perennial reloading and top players from the state coming in.

As for this year , like COOPER in an earlier post, I too want to see us press more and Story develop more point guard skills. He delivers the sharpest passes and may get us into the offense faster than Moore or Jones. Stuck here in the frozen north woods I watch a lot of ball. It seems we are about 5 sec slower getting any flow in our offense and take our first shot about 10sec slower than any team I have seen. Moore cannot be allowed to dribble his great circle route in the half court.

I undrstand what your saying about pushing the ball and I totally agree with it but...you really got that much faith in Story is kind of astonding...he is a good ball player but at point he would just another slow handler the offense has to be quick passes and alot more movement off the ball...nobody is excuting the plays they are cutting like they are still in High School in my opinion i think the point should be Jones because more he plays the better he will become
