this was the best desicion KS ever made while he was at IU taking away the offer to this kid. i hate seeing kids that are good at this sport and dont make it because of pure stupidity. just an overall sad story considering this isnt even the ruling on his drug charge. i dont see this kid ever playing college ball sad story for a good young talent.

Thank god we don't have to deal with this.........that would be the last thing we need. If we kept Sampson.....who knows what kind of other turmoil would be around the corner.

Whats to keep any of these coaches from giving a crap about the NCAA rules. Why would they care....if they break the NCAA rules for texting or phone calls or grades and the NCAA finds out, what's the worst thing that can happen? They get more money to go away or they continue to get paid after being fired (cause its in a contract) while they work somewhere else and have 2 paychecks. It's a win-win for the coaches, they either cheat and get away with it and have pretty good to great success, or they get caught and get paid serious money and then find a job in the NBA which laughs at all the silly little kid rules the NCAA makes up. Coaches who dont give a damn about their image have it made.
