Good, Bad and Ugly: Pitt
You have to wonder how teams that were slighted by the committee with their seeding (IU and certainly Butler who should be heading across town to NCAA Headquarters with torches and pitchforks as we speak) will play. Will they rally around each other and play like teams with something to prove? I certainly think Butler will do that, I don't give the Hoosiers credit for having that much heart. I think the homecourt advantage given South Alabama is a little overrated. As someone who lives on the Gulf Coast, it's a four-hour drive from Mobile to Birmingham and South Alabama hardly has what anyone would consider to be a big following in Mobile.

I realize it's a 258-mile drive and I wouldn't consider it a home court advantage (although it is closer for South Alabama than it is for Butler), but South Alabama is a pretty solid team and Butler truly got hosed having to play them in their first game.
Not to mention the dreaded 5-12 matchup negative karma that they have to deal with.
Other then that I like the assessment of the bracket. But who would you say is the guy most likely to randomly drop 24 points on 8-10 three point shooting? (it seems to happen every year)
One quick positive note for IU...IF (and it is a huge if) they beat Arkansas....Carolina's only two losses were both at home, so maybe the whole being in North Carolina isn't as helpfull as it may appear for them.
For instance, they pretty much ran roughshod over NC State at the RBC Center.
So, even if Indiana can beat Arkansas, they don't stand a chance against the Tarheels.
Anyone going to the games? I'm heavily thinking about it (if i can find a ticket).
Big A, you never fail to amaze me.
about knight back to indiana......right too knight
