I played basketball in the gym in New Richmond where they filmed some of the "Milan" games in the movie Hoosiers, it was pretty cool.

Latest I've heard is that the Ohio State coaching staff doesn't consider him committed anymore. I think there's a shot IU (or other schools) can get in the mix.

Sorry Hoosiergirl, but it looks like he's going to Ohio State. Even though his dad made him re-open his recruitment, a lot of people say he's stubborn minded ( like a lot of kids, so I don't fault him or anything) and won't really change his mind. He is a great kid though, and it would have been awesome to have this guy play for us.

While we are on the subject of recruits, it would totally make my week if TC could catch this guy. I was at the Final 4 State championships when he played our hometown team. He is a great player.

Thats what I said earlier today. I voted yes in the poll, because I wouldn't have put it past to Crean to nail him. But, then I read that article....... That last sentance of his is the clincher------Memphis or Tenn.

I read a blurb on peegs that Tom P may have gotten taller........hell any help in size couldn't hurt.......I also read good thing we jumped on Hulls cause he lit it up again in an aau tourney....

Bassett and Ellis have enrolled at the University of Mary Jane, while Thomas will be the starting five at Krispy Kreme University.

It is a damn shame these guys couldn't live up to IU and Crean's standards. I wish them all nothing but the best and BigA this was meant as a joke, sometimes a little laugh is the best medicine in a situation such as this....

I origonally voted that TC would get Negedu in, but I just read in a news article(the one about him visiting Tennessee) that he wants to go somewhere where he will not only get lots of playing time but win games. A lot of games. Don't think he'll get that many this year............

I don't like the idea of him being in Detroit one bit! I can see it now, thanks to Ray McCallum, Jordan Crawford has decided to transfer to the University of Detroit Mercy. He will sit out along with fellow former Hoosier Eli Holman with hope of hanging some banners at UDM. June 11th can't get here fast enough!

TC seems to be on a roll w fans and perhaps w future recruits. I pray he can maintain his roll with Crawford. I did some review of stats to put Crawford in perspective . Compared to EJ ie taken as many shots and played as many minutes Crawford would have:

scored 15+ per game, taken down 34 more rebounds, handed out 16 more assists, and had 35 fewer turnovers . I for one think he is a more versatile and solid player than Gordon as the stats point out . He played small forward at the end of the season when Ellis tanked as well.

He needs a welcome ceremony June 11th ?? when he returns to campus
