Good, Bad and Ugly: Loyola (Md.)
Secondly to answer the question can IU go winless....I was talking to my wife about our plans in March this year and going on a little vacation, when it dawned on me that I have very little reason to watch selection sunday or the NCAA tourney this year......
IU will upset ONE team this year in Bloomington...more than likely Illinois or OSU....I don't think OSU is that good....
I support Butler in the tourney because they are local here in Indy.....supporting Purdue is the 11th commandment and supporting ND is the 12th....
In all honesty, that is why I love "the state of Indiana" basketball. Fans are LOYAL and it is really part of our culture. I never went to IU, but my dad started me watching basketball with watching IU games on satelite and the rest is history. I could never cheer for Purdue EVEN if they went to the final four! NEVER
Butler does things the right way, play at a great gym, and have local kids BUT IU is IU and Butler is Butler. Debating a Purdue fan about the # of Horizon league titles BU has won is far different than debating the banners IU has hung....
IU will be back....be patient

Here's the crux of that article:
"refused to accept Dakich’s punishment"
That's the whole ball of wax, kid. After all the dope smoking and class skipping, and the horrible pressure of having the entire university handed to you on a platter, you decided that some macho pride was more important to you than continuing to be a member of the IU family.
You traded your IU bball career for an extra hour of sleep. We all make mistakes, and that was yours.
Actually, I think AB comes off ok in tis article. Here's hoping he learned from his mistakes.
